Recently I had changed the tranny fluid on my 95 ex coupe with the stock sohc engine and I filled it up with 2 quarts of honda MTL. I noticed that everytime I drive the car in 1st and 2nd gear I would hear this high pitch whining noise. When I go into 3rd the whining stops.
Does anyone know what might be the problem be?

Thanks for letting me know. I just wanted to be sure that the tranny wont blow on me thats all.

UMMMMM how is that natural?? When I had my stock D16z6 engine in my 95 coupe before I did the swap I never heard a high pitch whining.

when I back up I hear a whining nosie I think its normal but maybe...........

Yes in reverse it is normal but he's saying in 1st and 2nd gear which is not normal at all. I would tell the creator of this thread to have it checked out.

so does anyone have any idea what the problem might be. As of now the tranny has not blown out yet.
