TRANSMISSION FLUIDS?
can any1 tell me exactly what is the best type and howm much do i need to fill an empty transmission. i have a 96 b16a w/ a 96 civic si transmission.

ive used honda mtf, redline mtl, gm synchromesh, gm fm synchromesh... quite honestly they all get the job done. I do like redline and gm a tad better though.

fill it from the VSS and pull the plus in the tranny fill the tranny from the top till it drips out from the fill hole on the side of the case

Before Honda released their own line of MTF 10-30 motor oil was specified for use in their manual transmissions.

i'm guessing you've had problem with grinding b4 using honda fluids? From my experience, i haven't had any problems with grinding after using honda MTF.
