Honda MTF - or GM Synocromesh FM if theres a slight grind or something in the tranny. I don't really recommend dino oil in the tranny for a long period of time, although it has worked for a lot of people

Did you have your car jacked up in the front?

I drive a d16z6 with an XCTXX clutch soon to have a custom turbo setup But i just rebuild them myself so i just pay for parts, Not to costly when you do everything yourself. HeHe the last one i broke the differential littlerly exploded the transfer case apart destroying the housing, i took that tranny out in about 4-5 pieces, was pretty cool actually. Now the one i have in there now an oil seal went out while driving and i dident notice it right away so it was empty and i melted 5th gear, so now im running 1-4 w/R. Rebuild of anther p20-b is in the works now actually But having friends with old trannys they dont want anymore helps as well i can get a working P20A for $75 around here. Change the gearing over to my P20B tranny works like a champ, hehe for 10 months

As for your oil pouring out thats normal, i did a write up on how to do this a while back cause ive done it so many time. The link is https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=851521 Hope that helps you out somewhat by making it easier and less of a mess involved.

Just drained my old Honda MTF and put in some Pennzoil Synchromesh. Shifts pretty good and smooth. As far as fluid coming out of the fill hole, that's not too normal. A little dribble is fine, but a whole lot is not normal. Probably overfilled.

Pretty dirty under there.

Maybe it was last filled through the VSS and the filler plug wasn't pulled to let whoever filled it that it was already full.

I just use a funnel with a clear tube I connected to it and fill it from the fill hole from inside the engine bay. That way, I know when it's full when I see the fluid start dripping out. Clean the excess and drive away.

most likely the tranny is full. lol....

i have a question on my B18b i have a weird hole on the tranny side where people usually put the oil but there is no room there.. on it to do so.. so there is also a hole on the top of the tranny with like a rubber cap and its easy as **** to put oil in that hole... is that the right hole cuz i put oil in there and i blew my engine also so maybe that contributed to the ******* hole in my block lol.. anyways good times.. its fun blowing an engine as well. i have a working p 20 tranny sitting outside my apartments ha good times..

Definitely overfilled. When I removed the filler plug only 1 or 2 drops came out. My car was pitched VERY little to the driver side. I slowly lowered the jack and the rest came out. I use a Coffee can to drain it. Fits under the car nicely and PERFECT for the amount of transmission fluid. Gets filled 1" below can edge.

If they filled it through the VSS, they probably filled it with a few quarts of fluid. You only need 1.9 quarts for D-Series transmissions and 2.8 (I think) quarts for B-Series. If you are going to fill through the VSS, REMOVE the filler plug. Once the fluid starts comingout of the filler hole, you're done.

I never said the word "filter". I'm not sure if can damage anything. Most I see is the fluid expanding after it gets hot and trying to come out every possible way it can.

2.8 quarts for "D" series. I've got more than 5000 miles on GM Synchromesh FM. Still very happy with it.

2.8 for D-Series? I don't think so. It has to be 1.9 from all the time I've read the posts on here, plus it has to be 1.9 since I filled it with less than 2 quarts last Friday and still have a little left in the bottle and plus it has to be 1.9 since my Chilton's says so. 2.8 I think is for B-Series.

I'm not sure of the damage. Maybe once it gets hot it'll try to expand and seep out of all possible vents and what not.

You are correct, less than 2 quarts for "D" series. Checked my receipt. I only bought 2 quarts back in April. After that I bought 3 quarts for someone in Canada. He must have bought it for something other than D series.
