Default Transmission ?

What is the best transmission for h22a1 red top? Not to familiar with transmission, so all help is greatly appreciated. how hard is it to make the h2b transition? im going N/A so what is the best for that setup...

H2B isnt too hard to do if you have mechanical knowledge... the biggest downfall is the price. the mounting plates and kit run around 1k or so alone.

yeah i would say go H2B if you have the funds.

ok cool. i know H and F series transmissions are interchangeble, but which is better as far as compression, gear ratio(is shorter or longer better for a somewhat heavier motor/trans in ej1) getting the h2b is really a problem, but with me, being the diy are there any in dept step by step directions for the setup? thanks for the help peeps...
