are 92-95 civic coupes cable or hydrolic transmisions?

also for futher reference a trim level (ie. Ex,LX,DX) would help

Its irrelevant.

All 92+ civic transmissions are hydraulic.

kid had a civic hatch 93 and it was a cable. he got the B16A1 because of that too, are you sure all 92-95 are hydros

Yes. He probably got the B16A1 because its 1000 cheaper than a hydraulic SiRII, then got the HAsport hydro to cable conversion kit. All USDM manual transmission Civics from 92 and up came with hydraulic transmissions.
