tranny removal, do you support the motor?

tranny removal, do you support the motor?
quick question, i'm removing the tranny on my coupe and when i drop the tranny do i support the motor or do i just let it hang there with the one mount holding it?

no because their is only one real mount supporting the motor then
get a piece of wood and put it on a jack and jack the motor up from the oil pan

yea... Get a piece of wood on a jack and support the motor. You'll stress the rear mount badly.

cool, gonna go do that now. i was gonna use my motor lift to hold up the motor but my uncle lost the bracket to bolt to the motor
