tranny question???
I wanted your guys input, should i get the gsr transmission for the gsr engine or get the b16 transmission. I noticed u guys chose the b16 for faster gearing. which is better for boosted daily driver?

You may want to consider the one with taller gears. I've got a K20 in my eg. I've got the final drive from a 2005-06 in there (4.8). It's basically stock, header, intake and Kpro. If I stomp it in first I just light the tires and I've got nothing. It's hard to go fast without traction. If you've got the trans out, go ahead and put the lsd in it. This will help things. I've got one now. It helps, but still spinning tires. I like the low gearing because when the car is at speed, it doesn't light the tires due to gearing and resistance and so banging through 3-4-5-6 is much more fun. Think about how you might drive it. Perhaps you would like a tall first gear but with an overall shorter final drive. This way you could get the car moving and move through the gears without lighting the tires so much.

I personally like the gearing of a GSR transmission on a turbocharged GSR, over a b16 transmission. It really just comes down to opinion. I believe the shorter gearing of a b16 transmission, would make boost less enjoyable, than using a GSR transmission in the same application. With saying this, they are both fairly short and with either one you choose, you will still be moving quite fast and lighting up the tires
