How bad are the grinds and what RPMs do they typically grind?
If they are not MAJOR... then change your tranny fluid to Synchromesh. Allow up to 500 miles for improvements to be noticed.. if it still grinds then look into other alternatives.

Re: tranny grinds (daniel990836)
my tranny was grinding for a few reasons.
the axel was not properly in place due to my transmission mount not on (wasn't my doing..)
as a result the fluid was leaking.
your best bet right now is to check for any leaks and change the fluid
that should fix the problem unless something is seriously wrong.
and another point of interest that you should look into.. find a good transmission place and ask them to drive it around the block (if they do it for free) and they will be more than happy to let you know if something is seriously wrong.

Re: tranny grinds (slacks)
common thing for honda tranny's is for them to grind.....
the syncros are bad....you can either get another trans or get it redone....most people get another trans cause it is less expensive then rebuilding..
