tranny cluncks when i let the clutch out ?????

Default tranny cluncks when i let the clutch out ?????

hey..i just replaced my lx tranny and after i shift into a gear and let the clutch out moving up the road it makes a clunk noise whats my problem????

This might sound dumb but did you install the clutch disc facing the right way?

the tranny mounts are fine i checked them thinking that was it

Have you gone under the car to physically check of anything if out of spec or if everything is bolted properly?

Do you know if the transmission is not grenaded to begin with?

if by grenaded you mean shot...then no the tranny is fine i had it looked at before i put it in and everything is bolted correctly...what would i bolt uncorrectly that would make a clunck??

Is the axle ok? are the lugnuts tight?
