ITR tranny. Shortest gears like the b16 tranny, but with a LSD.

Yep. I know the final drives differ from year to year, and would go with the longer final drive as it will help keep the revs down when driving on the highway.

"Best" tranny? Best for what? Acceleration? Top speed? Fuel economy? Price? Drag? Autocross? Daily driving?

How do you define the "best?"

If it's mainly a daily driver, I would probably do a GSR trans with a helical LSD. This will allow for lower revs on the freeway and better fuel economy vs. an ITR trans.

If you have the GSR Tranny already just keep it and toss a LSD in it. If you have no tranny I would suggest the ITR though. It will accellerate faster but will leave you at a higher RPM when crusing.

The engine redline has nothing to do with the transmission. The transmission gearing just determines the speed you will be travelling over the ground at any given engine RPM in any given gear.

Shorter gears will allow for the car to accelerate faster, but short gears will have a lower top speedin each gear. Longer gears allow for lower engine RPM at certain ground speeds, better fuel economy, and higher top speeds in each gear - however long gearing will cause the car to accelerate slower.

B-series transmissions are generally geared as follows, from the longest to shortest:

LS -> GSR -> B16 -> ITR

Some B16 and ITR transmissions are exceptions to this order, but this is generally how it is.

S80 could be any 3rd-gen Integra transmission.
