well i have 2000 black leather gsr seats and my freinds has perfect condition 2001 type r seats but he is selling his car and the guy who wants to buy his car wants leather not type r seats so he calle dme asking me if i would trade him. of course i would do this no problem if my car was still red but now my car is teal and i dont know how funny black type r seats with red stitching will look. any advice?

It's really up to you, but I wouldn't put the red stitched type r's in a teal car. Just too many colors goin on!

i would, those sears are NICE. they look good anywhere imo. but really do what <U>you</U> like, not others.

yea i know that but i havent seen black seats with red stitching in a teal car maybe if someone on here has a pic opr has seen it can tell me what they think

Type R seats can go for much more. IMO they are way more confortable. I would do it...

I've seen a teal/green (Minori ?) hatch with type R seats, rear as well, looked dope as hell!

yea im getting the front and rear seats they are in mint condition. the only reason i want them is because 2000 gsr seats have these height adjusters built into them and it makes the seat sit up real high even at their lowest setting but the type r seats sit a lot lower cuz they dont have that crap.

I would trade. The GSR seats are nice, but I think the leather makes you slide around too much. You should stay more planted with ITR seats. Plus, should you ever need to get rid of them for money, you will get more with the ITR.

i dont know im torn between the 2 seats. i love leather seats especially since they are black and my whole interior is black dash door panels gauge pod everything it looks really good in my car with black. i guess ill have to make a decision by tommorrow then

if you want i have leather gsr seats and i would trade you plus give you cash just a suggestion.but if you dont, get them anyways i think they would look fine in the car.

I've owned both and I like the Type r seats way more than the leather. The suede feels good as hell it is very comfortable.

My boy has a teal hatch with itr interior and it looks dope. Of course he has kicker solo-barics which have a red trim around the sub so the red stitch has something to coordinate with. I say go for it!

BLACK leather = BLACK ITR tweed with red stitching.
either way, you're gonna have black seats in your ride. might as well go with ITRs.
