Is there a particular reason why you're getting tow hooks?

Perfect answer. Damn well worth it. Sit in the car with a video camera and wait. Oh yes...

I think that tow hooks on Hondas (or any high-performance car) are normally for the opposite reason, so that they can be towed if they wreck, or for some reason don't need to be running but need to be moved in a race environment. On the street, there is no purpose, really, unless you need to be ghetto-towed. It gives that "race" look.

also to be added: it helps secure them to a trailer

I kept my big **** off trailer hitch (came with the car) on for that exact reason. It's going to hurt whoever bumps me.

If you have bad luck as me and keep having to get towed, it saves the hassle of removing the bumper in the dark

I had some kid decide hes gonna hit the gas while in reverse, while waiting in the drive thru Tow hook would have kept him from plowing into me somewhat. I got no damage but his Ford Probe had a nice dent in it lol
Im gonna get one for sure.

at the track (road courses) and especially for HC cars, when you go off and get sutck, or blow something up, a tow vehicle can strap to the tow hook real easy, no removing bumper or wrapping around things you dont really wanna be tugging on.
I think most everyone has em for cosmetic purposes or to cause damage to other cars.

Cause your car doesnt come with them straight from the factory or anything

It has become a trend I will admit; But I personally use them as a precaution so I dont damage my front/rear lips while being towed (which happened on my CRX). The least you can do is acknowledge that they actually have a function when properly used.

I personally use them at auto-x events or drag events, where something breaks or wreck off the track, and need a "hot pull" off the track .
These come in handy when you least expect them.

It so gets me with these things coming out of the bumper and claiming its for a racecar. I guess these racecars don't "bump draft". The only ones I like are the ones that used the factory location and come out from the bottom of the bumper.
