too much pressure in cooling system
thermostat, rad, and rad cap are brand new.
Popped the hood after the car had been sitting for 2 hours and the upper rad hose was "swollen" and seemed about to bust.
any idea?

My girlfriend says the fan does not come on, but the temp gauge never goes higher than normal operating temp.
The overflow tank used to bubble and spit coolant out, but we changed the rad and it seemed to have fixed that problem.
I changed the hose this weekend and I heard the system depressurize when I took the clamp off.
