It's a 15 year old car with a billion miles on it. It's actual trade-in value at a dealer is 0. It's value to a honda enthusiast is good. That's exactly blue book so, it's not a steal or anything.
It's probably worth it if it has a clean title.

Personally, if you plan on swapping a motor, or rebuilding the one that's already in it, why not. Especially if you like the car and want to to things with it. Also it's very important as others have stated that it has a clean title. If it meets all of those requirements, I'd say go for it. Good luck man and keep us updated!

95 Si's are not work 5-5.6K in stock form. Ever.
4000 tops, and that's low mileage, no problems, etc.

lol NO
definitely NOT.
Whoever you hear your information from should be smashed in the face repeatedly with a big ******* rocks.
No stock '95 Si is worth over 4, regardless of condition. Most people wouldn't even pay that, that's like, a dealership cost. You can't just say "92 Si is worth this, and 95 Si is worth this," I've seen some 92 Si that can claim to be worth 4k as well, it's all in the condition and miles.
On that note, as I think the first post said, that price is 100% normal for that car. Especially from a dealership and not some ricer kid thinking he can sell it for 10 grand. Hondas don't hold their value, they're not Ferraris (contrary to popular belief). They're econoboxes, that have a small engine...and are made for good fuel consumption, that's it. They're NOT in high demand and they sure as hell aren't rare by any means.
On the flipside, I'd say that lil' bastard looks like a perfect candidate for either a motor swap, or boost that Z6.
PS:
IACV stands for Idle Air Control Valve, also called the EACV Which stands for Electronic Air Control Valve (same ****).
PS2:
It's not a great buy or anything, so I wouldn't be concerned about the price - for what you're paying (or going to pay) it's a clean car, but it's not like a "very low price" or anything. A Civic isn't worth that much to begin with, not to mention a 12 year old civic. I'd pick it up though.
EDIT:
Oh yeah, carfax it before you do anything.

I bought my '98 HB with 24K miles 2 years ago for $5500. My point is only that this isn't a steal. It's just an OK price. I'd probably offer the guy $1500 for it, if he's not a honda enthusiast.

Two's probably fair, 1500 is a bit low, I'd say try to get 'em to like 18 or 17, but if that's as low as he'll go, just take it.

Depends where you are, this month ive seen 2 95 sis one for 5,600 and the other for 4,500.One of them was as good as it gets,84kmiles ,no scratches at all or dents, very clean and the guy wouldnt lower the price either.hatches are in demand here i guess

They're not in high demand, you just have a lot of ricer kids with more money than brains and don't know what the **** anything is worth.
5.6k or 4.5k is ridiculous for a stock '95 Si.
Anybody with something viable between their shoulders would know that.
******* ricers.
