Default TOKICO SHOcks and GC's

Im currently rollin the TOKico HP kit and it's really soft, and the drop wasn't so great. Any body got experience with TOKICO blues and GC's, how does that ride?? Oh and it's on my EJ2......

Illuminas/Koni Yellows paired with GC's would be a much better way to go.

The blues just aren't meant to handle high spring rates and low ride heights.

I speak from experience.

I am on SK2 and the Tokico blues for almost three years now and love them. I have never had a problem with this setup. I wish I would of gone w/ the Illuminas though.

eibach sportlines with koni yellows are what i like. perfect drop and u can drop it even more with the koni yellows maybe u should upgrade to some adjustable struts? like kyb agx's or something?

you cant go wrong with either the agx's or the illuminas... both are only about $100 a shock

i prefer the illuminas' because the adjustment is on the top of the shaft, where as the AGX has it on the shock body....

False information on the adjustment on the shock body. 92-95 civic and 94-up integra are on the top shock shaft and 96-00 civic, front are the same and rears are on the shock body.

Tokico blues on Gc's for 3 years, dumped hard and the ride is good.

um, GC's come in many spring rates, there is no standard answer to this question.

my honest opinion is that tokico blues are **** with any progressive spring rate.

if you're going soft you might be ok with them, but i honestly wouldn't waste my money on blues.

hate to beat the blues to death, but i can concur. they're garbage. lasted me 2 weeks dropped on tein s-techs. which is only about a 1.9" drop and progressive. replaced with illuminas and i couldn't be happier. i live in jersey so going real low is a no-no unless you hate the bottom of your car.

tokico blues are not much better than stock struts. I know alot of people swear by the koni/gc setup. I went with the illuminas/gc setup with the extended gc top hats. Well worth the money.

i went from blues to illuminas to koni yellows, the difference from illuminas to yellows was like the difference between blues and illuminas.

and i'm running much stiffer springs with the yellows...so i can only imagine how nice a ride you can get from yellows with a milder spring.
