Default tokico Illumina with ground control

so today i installed the tokico Illumina with my ground control. before i was riding stock shock with the ground control. after i install the tokico when i go over small pothole it sounded like the whole coilover just pop up the shock and landed back down that kind of sound. also the front be rubbing when i wasnt even rubbing with my stock shock on the same road i be going to work. and after i changed the shock i raised a little higher than before also. that why im surprise that its rubbing with the new shock. though i could be happy with the new shocks guess not =[ any help? its a 2000 civic ex

It sounds like the spring wasn't seated well or you hit on hell of a pothole. I know it is a pain but I'd say take any effected ones back off and redo it. Props for the Illuminas, I just went with the HPs but over all I'm pretty happy. Oh, you can try installing additional O rings between the shaft and GC collar, make sure the top bushing is facing the right way. I guess I can't really tell much with out physicaly looking at it, good luck though.

^^^ bump stops?

As for the setting on the illumina's you have to set i to stiffer position.
With higher spring rates you need stiffer dampers to handle them or else you will have crappy ride/handling
