Re: Tired of Being slow (agk20teg)
I know the feeling. I went from my modded WRX to a N/A slow POS i am driving for a few months (entering the honda world shortly). If you want to go fast trade the car for something lighter like red-eg6 suggested or do a swap

If you're going to swap it... H22 or K20/24. You might as well get something cause doing the auto to manual conversion, you'd need to cut a hole in the floor and get a shift linkage. For either of the two engines I mentioned, you need to get the whole cable shifter assembly anyways.

Your sol weighs almost as much as a coupe, not even going into the body flex
Depends what model HB your talking about, but my EG CX weighs about 150 pounds less than your car
If you really want a fast car, buy my bone stock cx. I swear it eats lamborghini's for breakfast everyday

WOW, another dumb person again! this is a "TECH FORUM" if you dont know what it means, do some search please!!
ANYWAY to the poster, If it is an EX then you'll be fine for selling it. Since an Auto Motor works on Manual car. I swapped my motor and didn't know that is was an auto until I looked at the manifold, it rusn fine til today. But I can suggest that you can just supercharge it, or boost it (turbo). I suggest that you supercharge it, since it is an "auto", but you can just trade in the SOB for a new 06 civic those are nice!!! Si is making about 200 HP, and the EX is making about 160 (not sure) But anyway Good luck on the decision!!
Not much you can do with an auto dude!!

Are you talking about the new concept Si? the one that'll debut at Sema, for some reason I thought that one was an '07.

Well, from firsthand experience, supercharging the automatic is fun for a little while until the transmission start to break down on you. That's where I am now, almost a year after I installed a jrsc.

The NEW SI is making 200 hp, the 99-00 SI is at 160. The EX numbers are way off, try 127 before the transmission, and 85 after it to the wheels. In stock form, the car is slooooow, and the only way to fix it would be some sort of forced induction. And the only reliable way to do that would be to get rid of the automatic, it doesn't last. So either swap the tranny, swap the engine and tranny, or swap the car, none of which being too cheap in the end. I know because I have the same car and it's my own personal money pit.
