Default tire size

i have 13's on my car right now, i have 175/70/13's on there, i saw a set of 14's for sale and i saw a set of falken azenis for cheap 195/60/14 the rims i want are 14x 6.5 so will these tires fit those rims and how far off with the two different wheels be off height wise? since the other rims are an inch taller that should make up for the smaller tire right?

thanks for all your help in advance

Default Re: tire size (no-tec)

The 175/70R13 tire gives a diameter of ~22.7" and the 195/60R14 tire is ~23.2". This is a difference of 0.5". The tire will fit fine on those rims.

As long as you plus size your wheels correctly the overall diameter shouldn't change more then .25" to .75".

0 = 175/70-13
+1 = 195/60-14
+2 = 195~205/50-15
+3 = 205/45-16
+4 = 215/40-17

Also your speedo shouldn't be off more then 3-5% too.
