how much slack are you talking about? so that looks normal? the other side is looser. is this normal or should i tighten it more?

Like it should move maybe like 1/2" if you press on it with your fingers, only on that side.

Loosen the timing belt adjusting bolt and turn the crank counter-clockwise until you pass 3 teeth on the cam gears. Retighten the timing belt adjusting bolt. There will be some deflection on the exhaust side but it looks like too much judging by the pic.

intake side should be pretty tight (still some slight movement it's rubber you know), exhaust side can be loose a little bit.

As said no matter how tight you make it it will always come off with enough fighting... BTW Unjockable, is that chick not wearing anything beside a shirt? LOL not that it matters. Just like she is showing us her favorite finger..

</TD></TR></TABLE> LOL, after I posted that I noticed she was wearing shoes too so I'm glad your not an *** and razzed me for missing that, thankx bro, way to keep it real. And you can just leave it unspoken, we all know that is her favorite finger. I bet her someone at some point told her that if she keeps making this face it might eventually stay like that!!!
