Default Timing?

ok i just put my d16y8 engine into my ej. do i have to make sure the engine is at TDC before i set the time. the engine has never been disasembled i dont even think the cam gear cover has been tooken off let me kno what you guys think

r you talking about setting the timing with the timing belt or distributor?

i am wonder in if the motor has to be set at tdc before i time it at the dizzy sorry for the confusion

just remember to set the ecu to limp mode.
