Default time for a new clutch what you guys think?

okay ive had my new ej for about three months and it has basic boltons on it. I bought it from a friend who buys cars and sells them. The car was bone stock and had a rebuilt motor at the time but i noticed the clutch is going. It has not started to slipp except when i go in reverse but the release is really high up and the pedal feels really reallly soft. WAT TO DO WAT TO DO????

I know a friend who has an exedy stage 2 clutch for my sohc motor with literally 25k on it because hes parting out his setup and he said he would sell it for around 100 i dont know anything about these clutchs are they good/bad I have searched but I havent been satisfied with what I've seen.

well let me know what you think, thanks jay
