sorry for the misunderstanding...yes i've gotten a ticket just for aiding a speed contest...in other words watching illegal street race but here wasnt any goin on...but the police assume there are races since they have races there all the time...even though i was just parked right by the sidewalk without doin any harm...

Yeah, that's a newer law in So Cal. They figure by ticketing the watchers, and in some cases impounding their cars, that it will kill the street race scene. I must say it worked perfectly in San Diego.

Think about it, if he pays $50 (example) for a fine, wouldn't he go do it again? A certain amount of money, for MOST people, isn't enough to get a lesson taught. People, for the most part, learn the hard way.
