Throwout bearing installation help?
Does anyone know how or have a link on how to install a throwout bearing on a 1993 civic hatchback dx? if you anyone can help, that would be great, thanks.

do i have to take out the whole transmission, or is there an easier way? how much would it cost for a shop to do it? like the ballpark?...is it real hard to do by yourself?

It is such a pita to take the tranny off.
I think it would be roughly 400 or so to take it to a shop.
When I did mine I made the mistake of not putting some spring on the TOB fork back on correctly. Ended up costing me 400 after I took the fawker off 3 times, looked at it, thought everything was peachy, and reassembled it.

probably would cost a lot to have it done because you gotta take the tranny out. its not much less work than changing a clutch which could run about 500+ at a shop.
