throttle body spacer ???'s
I just bought an edelbrock throttle body spacer and had a couple of questions. I was under the impression that it should be a simple bolt on thing but maybe not. I got the part today and figured out that it fit the hole pattern on the intake but the studs would not be long enough. Am i supposed to use a t-body from a different honda is the one on my d16z6 supposed to work for it. The manu. website says i got the right part # it doesn't fit. Also, it seems to cover up some of the pockets for the icv and such.
This is where i got the spacer from

I did get the 75mm, but i am beginning to think that i was wrong to assume that 75mm meant the thickness and not the dia. of the t-bodies it was bolting up to.
also, here's a pic of it, just scroll all the way down

you wasted your money, send it back and grab a hondata intake manifold gasket or get the password jdm one... they will both do WAY more than that spacer will do...
a 75mm thick spacer... thats 3" thick, figured you would have had new studs to accomodate this...

and about the 75 mm thick one...yeah really REALLY wasn't thinking about the fact 75mm=2.956in or so. I'll be sending it back anyhow so oh well...

It should have came with the bolts needed, it showed them in the picture. I'm not for sure for sure but a stock T/B is like 63mm-ish. So those spacers would be for an aftermarket T/B. And the measurement is referring to the width of the opening not the thickness of the spacer.
