those of you who know anything about y7's.
im making a mini-me w/a 94 z6 head and tranny on a 97 y7 and my chilton book said that on the gear that is located behind the crank pulley, that there is sposed to be a washer on each side of the gear. is this correct, b/c mine only has one washer and it was on the inside of the gear.
also, should i replace the oil pump since ive got it out and everything? the block has 108k on it and we've replaced everything else on it.

I know on bseries theres 2. I don't if that helps you any but I would think it should have 2 too since it kinda holds in the timing belt in there.

I don't believe there is. I changed my crank pulley from my Y7 to my Y8 and I do not remember multiple washers.
