i am undecided and I'm thinking of selling my JDM EG4 swap, its got the following:
Zex 5300 cam
Skunk2 cam gear
Lightspeed header 4-2-1 (1pc)
Ultra 8mm sparkplug wires
62mm TB (oem honda)
LSD tranny (torsen)
chipped ECU (3x different sohc vtec programs)
D15B JDM Sohc vtec motor (130ps)
new axles, mounts, shift linkage

the motor put out 117whp with just header, exhaust and ecu, currently its seems to closer to 130whp mark, and thats without an intake

what you guys think only asking $850 for all the parts....the compression all cyls is 200psi, zero oil burning, it has only 60k km, since i got half cut so I used to the orignal cluster...

i think you should keep it ,it sets you apart from the crowd,that's what i'm going to do get a d16z6 and spank up the twincams,but 850 sounds like a good price for it if you do sell it,good luck with it

An old friend of mine had a lightspeed header back in the days, it was a little better than dc sport.
I thought it was, it was in a '89 civic si,.....my opinion.

going b-series, new setup as follows:
b16a (vision stroker 1.8l)
vison headers
LSD + some other JDM goodies

i am not sure why but this thing is fast but I just like doing swaps, this car has seen 4 swaps since April....

sounds like a good idea i would ditch the d series if i had the chance to get a stroked b series motor anyday

1 question i have a d16z would it be safe to use the zex cam on a stock block, with a stock ecu- is this worth the money, don't want to spend too much on the single cam cause im planning to go b series...

also if i did the same setup like you how much hp difference would you think i would make, 1.6l-1.5l

damn if i would have heard this 2 weeks ago i would have bought the complete package. i wouldnt do it we are the last of a dying breed but i see where you are coming from id actually do it if something like that came along. let me know if you wanna sell anything
