i currently have a jdm gsr b18c in my EK. i love it! but im thinking about swapping it out for a k20z3. i want the z3 for the LSD. how much could i sell my jdm gsr for? and about how much could i get a k20 for? is it worth it? what more do i need other than shift cables and such? lets chat about it, i dont want to open up a can of worms here.

i have also been looking into a swap, don't know if i should go b18c type R or k20a type s? how many miles on your engine?

Will the k is a lot better but the money/hp ratio = the b


i have a k20z3 in my garage but it needs about $4000 in parts for the swap all new parts and good brands + warranty

if u think u can sell ur gsr and have enough for a K swap then ur wrong..ur gonna need at lesat $5k+the money u get from sellin the gsr just to swap that thing into a ek..sure i heard of ppl doing it for alot cheaper than $5k but i dunno where they are gettin those cheap parts...there is a shop around my town that charged a guy $10K just to do a stock k20a2 into his EG hatch

10k is way to much if a shop is going to put it in for you its around 7-9k

is that 10k without the motor or plus the motor? im looking at swapping a k20a into my eg hatch.... what do i all need to buy? i got a deal on the motor, ecu, harness, axels, and tranny... waht else is tehre?

If you just want the LSD can't you just drop the tranny and put an LSD in it? K series is a bit more work than just keeping the B...
