Anyone know the H-T user "h00kup?" He has over 3000 posts so I thought he was legit, but I havent heard from him for about 2 weeks. I sent him a money order for a y8 shortblock and havent heard from him. Any help? Thanks...

I personally don't think it's appropriate for you to post his name/address on the internet.

I don't know him personally, but I do think he's legit.

umm...*ahem* there is no reason to post his address, I am friends with Paul and I believe he was trying to ship you the block or was in the process..

talk to him before you go around bashing his name, I'll give him a call..

He WONT scam you - he has no reason too, hell he wants all the crap out of his garage, I'll probably see or talk to him today, I already linked him to this.

You two should be able to work this out, now please edit your post with his home address, and take it to email or h-tech PM's

Hey - I'm not a scammer - just didn't realize how hard it is to ship a block for under 200 dollars.

the box broke that i had packaged it in, which i re-enforced with ply wood. and they couldn't send it.

i PM'd you - and don't have your number to get in contact.

putting my addy isn't very nice, but I can understand your concern. I'd appreciate you taking it off - and contacting me.

i left you my number and addy and all - please call me

also - i have no reason to want to scam you. i am in the process of moving and need this sh*t out of my garage.

thas why i thought 200 was sufficient to send you the block - making 0$ off this transaction. just need to get rid of this stuff.

Thanks ryan.

C another great thing about Honda-tech. communication and friends that help settle things in a adult way. More communication would have avoided this whole topic in the first place. Some things take time and patience is virtue.

spelling.
H-T and all the great members.

some scam - he tells me this shipping company that isnt around my way. its in cali.

i told him id much rather just send him the money back.

which i have.

i have no reason to scam - i needed it out of the garage.

he should have a check for his money back.

The shipping company was just a suggestion - its usually the seller's responsibility to find a shipping company isnt it? He has had my money for a month, and he FInALLY says he is sending me a check back. I will believe it when I see it. Paul may be good people, but his selling skills BLOW me.

for this seller.

Its a shortblock first of all. Second, he shouldnt have put it up for sale if he couldnt come thru with the shipping. **** like this pisses me off.

I don't know either one of you first off.

1) your both at fault.
2) seller dood: you should have found out what it would take to ship the thing before even putting it up for sale to be shipped via frieght.
3)buyer dood: Be careful buying **** online, even if it seems like a sweet a$$ deal, but it isn't someone with a sellers/business licence and a well known rep, then you need to take in to concideration that you might get ripped off. In fact, expect it unless you have reason to trust the person.

I wish the best of luck to you both.
