Ok well first i kno this is not the right forum, but you EG+ guys are the best.
I race a 4cyl truck circle track locally. We have alot of old slicks that we dont use anymore, because to be compettive you have to buy new slicks every 4-5 races.
I cant think of the sizes cuz its 3 am...
the tires look like this sort of
Heres a pic of one of the trucks... to see how big the tires are (Lee Muary's truck, used to race at the SIR road course in a mazda car)
and my truck
Well we run on a 13x8" rim. I dont kno if you could even find a 13x8 rim to fit a honda.
Anyways i just wanna kno if you think these tires will work compared to street tires.. Not like my civic is an all out race car, but practice days at the local drag strips are fun to do.
And im about to fall out of my chair im so tired.. so if im not making sence.. oh well
lol hahaha

Most "Circle Track" slicks are made of harder rubber than drag tires. And have stiffer side walls for longevity, plus you really need to heat up track tires before they stick good.
On the other hand "Drag" slicks have a very soft compound and flexible side walls, and are meant to run at low PSI amounts

We run our PSI's from 16 - 26. I know they are harder tires but wouldnt tire softener help?

they're definately not gonna work as good as a purpose built drag slick.first you need to find out what size they are to see if they're even close to being usable.
why not just buy a couple of drag slicks?they're $100-$150 each depending on what size and brand you get.not a huge investment, especially considering how much i'm sure you spend on tires for your truck.
BTW-a few manufacturer's make 13" drag-oriented wheels.i have Lenso's in 13"x7.5" that stil clear my EX brakes.

not sure what your engine setup is,but the 22" and maybe 23" height tires could be used for higher HP N/A setup, adn a lower HP turbo setup.
i just don't think you're gonna find too much more traction considering the design of the tire.
