i was pulling in tonite...after coming home from a friends house..as im pullin into my street i see a EF hatchback full of guys coming out of street slowly..and as i turned in they were are all staring at me..ive lived here for a year and have never seen a body kitted EF full of asians males out here..and i kinda think ive seen that car before at the race track....it kinda scares me..so i traded my friend cars for the night so he can park mines in his garage..

i check my car even if it's out of the way and inconvenient. i haven't heard of anyone getting their car towed....as of yet.

There have been occasions, that I assure you. However, most theives that steal Hondas are'nt typically the "towing" type. The risk is much greater than the reward. You should expect BMW's, Porsches' and other exotics to get the flatbed first. Now I'm not saying it wont happen, 'cuz I'm sure it could/does. A *layered* security system is your best defense.

yups! if they want it, no matter how much security u put, they will tow it and strip it inside a garage.

I just got mine two days ago and they, surprisingly clean strip of my aftermarket mods and both airbags. I'm sad to say, i'm telling my insurance to fix it and put everything Honda OEM parts. No more aesthetics!

This guy is going vigilante and if see suspicoius ***** stealing cars i'll beat them up even tho it's not my car he's messin wit!

Things are getting crazy, I was talking to one of the guys that does valet parking down in south beach. He has a red 91 nissan sentra 2dr. He told me one night he parked it in between and lexus and a bmw on collins ave. and they stold his car. Thieves don't care anymore, you could have a stock car with nothing but hubcaps and bondo all over the place and they'll still probably take it.

ya man i've heard of cars getting towed ... but they were heavily modded cars....
my friend motor cycle was stolen from englishtown last summer and they found it in irvington ... who ever stole it jsut joyrode it home...

if they want it bad enough they will take it

Try reporting it to the local authorities as "suspicious behaivior". If there have been a lot of complaints in your area, they may have somebody investigating. You could use your car as bait. Then we can watch it on Cops.

What if those guys were just leaving from their friend's house who lives down the block? What, asian people don't live where you're at? Riiiight.

Anyways, it would have been more suspicious if this was at around 2am. But just because a car with a few passengers decided to look at you, they're not automatically going to steal your car.

If you're that paranoid, then get an alarm system with multiple layers. And increase the comprehensive coverage on your insurance. Cuz if they REALLY want it that bad, it's as good as gone. At least with insurance, you'll be compensated back somewhat.

I just drive up to the car and talk to them. Ask them about their car, modes, etc... When they ask you what you have say "say i used to have a swap but the crank pulley broke, now I have a vx motor w/ naaawwwzzz " or some stuff like that. I bet you if you talk to them they are less likely to steal your car. Then warm them that you think people in the area are stealing cars and to watch out, then tell them you are ready for who ever it is with a .45 glock.

I heard through the grape vine that a kid was going to break into my car, so I went to his house. Just acked wierd and mental. He never broke into my car

sorry buddy but i know my neighborhood..i know everyone on my block and 99 % of them are old people..so therefore i have a good reason to feel the way i do about whats going on...so your saying a car full of guys..are goin to visit there grandma at 1 am? "RIIIIIGHT".. uh huh..also. i do have full coverage and a good alarm..but insurance is not gonna cover whats under the hood..so whys it matter..just my thoughts..

nah..they will only cover up to a certain amount..if that...witch isnt very much at all.my best friends a insurance agent..ive talked to her about it before..

that depends on your insurance company... i had mine stolen back in january 02... my insurance (state-farm) covered everything that i had receipts for (about $8k worth for parts, another $7k worth of damage to the vehicle)... but many smaller insurance companies won't cover your aftermarket stuff even if you do have receipts for them.
