Are these this signs of possible alternator failure?
I have these really odd problem with my car and I have a feelin that its my alternator that is going down south on me..
While I am at idle at a light waiting for the lights, I notice how the car's interior lights going dim specifically the Guage cluster, its odd how i see when its at idel the dimmin begins but when I am at normal driving the lights dont dim anymore but dim when I am at idle at the lights...
Here are the specs on my car:
98 Civic EX
1.6 D16Y8
EG Stock Air box with 3 inch custom mandral bent piping with Speed Air Filter
DIY VTEC Solonoid Ground wire to negative terminal
and yes the ever fun Honda Automatic Tranny
So anybody got any ideas to what could be the problem...is it the alternator?
Thanks everybody

the only way to be sure is to do a load test on it, and if you dont have a VAT 40, you cant do it. make sure your cables, and connections are neat and clean.
