ok here is what i found out by looking at my car this morning... besides my fiberglass front bumper being gone this is what im lookin at... hood has a little dent..both fenders have either a small dent or a crease in it, lower rad support is dented into the transmission and the cross member that the hood latches into is twisted and the hood latch inside is all screwy.... i think the rad support is pinching the resivoir(spelled wrong, dont care) for the hydraulic fluid for my tranny... but im not sure if thats what that is or not...but what im askin is this... if i turn it in the insurance will total it, i get money to buy a new car... or can this be fixed easily? keep in mind im pissed about forking over money the paint shop when they finsihed my car tuesday... any suggestions will help

Well man that just sucks.

I think it's big of you to at least admit that you were at fault, because most people would come in here and try and blame the accident on everything else BUT themselves.

So what are your plans now?

I'm guessing that you did not have full coverage, huh?

estimated off hand at $2000+ to get it fixed... im gonna just say its not worth it anymore to keep pumpin money into my hatch.... i think im going to total the car...buy it back off the insurance company and sell it, if any of yinz think this is a waste of time or a good idea... hook me up... i dont know what to do.

sucks dude...... if it is a 92 hatch you will get less than 3000 for sure from the insurance..... think about it and then make a decision that it worth it for you

that sucks man...

Two of my friends recently totaled their cars the same way you did. One was performing a turn, tires didn't grip, and ram his Eclipse GS-T straight into the center divide and my other friend was doing a turn at high speed (in the rain of all conditions!) and totaled his RSX... pretty bad...

Total crazniess. Be a little but more careful alright?

ah this just really pisses me off... my car is in excellent condition...the paint it perfect, the interior is spotless except a rip in the driver seat, engine has only 60grand on it, the only downside is the chasis has 145000 on it, and all the insurance company is giving me is.... $2245.07 <---- wtf is that bullshit. he said my car gets totaled at $2000 but just a month ago they gave me $2100 to fix it from a deer sayin that total is $50 under the total line... then i argue with the guy about the numbers, and he didnt want to hear it giving me excuses after excuses, after 30minutes on the phone arguing, he must had more expereicne than me cuz i gave up, couldnt keep proving him wrong.... this is ****
