Default Tein SS versus Skunk2 Pro-C Coilovers versus Neuspeed/Bilstein coilovers

On my 1995 Civic EJ1 coupe, I've been running Bilstein/Neuspeed coilovers for about 6 years. These were specifically engineered for unique stiffness and damping for the EG/EJ/DC chassis. The struts are a high pressure monotube design. These have a wide height range but have no damping adjustments. The front spring rate is 250 psi and the rear is 200 psi. The damping is matched specifically to the spring rates.

Everything functions good and I am happy with the performance, but if I ever had to replace or update the coilovers, I was just wondering about the other alternatives out there. I have not had the opportunity to ride in other similarly built Civics and Integras with other high end coilovers to compare ride and handling qualities.

Enter Tein SS and Skunk2 Pro-C coilovers. Both have basically similar characteristics with many levels of damping adjustment, street prices of $1000 or less, and are mainly built for street/track use. The Tein SS uses twin tubes whereas the Skunk2 uses a monotube design.

So for relatively comfortable street use, how are the Skunk2 and Teins? What are the spring rates for both of these? What other coilovers are similar in price, spring rates, and handling?

Or should I just stay with the Neuspeed/Bilstein setup? What do people, including the JDM purists, think about Neuspeed products in general?

I am not a fan of tein really so this may be biased. They tend to charge too much for what you get and if you were to take that money elsewhere and not pay for the name you will get a better product. at the same time skunk2 is a great product but you still are paying for name. I prefer monotube design... less to work with or have go bad. I am a huge fan of Koni yellows and Ground control coils as well as omni power coils. I am running the omnipower full body coils which run about 800 or so and i am very happy with the performance. I have the street rates (10k front 8k rear) and have no complaints. the koni/GC combo is nice too but a one piece coilover will be more consistent and perform better all around.
just my opinion

i had nuespeed race springs on my prelude and handle well. i also bought them for my 92 integra gsr and there ok. i found some tein ss for a 89 - 91 civic (da/ef share the same chais, like eg/dc) with less then 1k for $500, cant wait to install them and see how they handle,
