I know we've talked about this extensively for the past couple days, but I haven't heard exactly what your goals are. Obviously not autocross/road racing at stock height.
So what is it that you're looking for that you need $650 suspension packages for?
I'm still saying stock GSR springs and KYB AGX's will do you fine...

How do they suck? They usually have better/stiffer spring rates than most springs.
But yeah, tell us what you want to do with your car. No need to spend 700+ on it if you're not doing anything...

Yes, they have stiffer rates, but they often (not always) give the feeling of better handling by overcompensating with overly-stiff rates and a shock that's not valved to accommodate that.

Coilovers are better than stock, but a well-thought-out spring and strut combo is better than any of the low-level coilover systems on the market. Koni Yellows and proper springrates will give better handling than anything the OP listed.
I've done the coilover thing many times for people, and I still return to struts and springs. It's just more flexible and more cost effective.

I wouldn't pick stock struts, but GS-R springs for a DD @ stock ride height would be a pretty smooth ride.

Oh boy, time for me to hop into this one, fire extinguisher ready.
A daily driver doesn't mean closer to stock. You can modify the hell out of a car and still call it a daily driver, as long as you drive it daily. Personal preference should dictate what you want your ride to feel like. Personally, I don't mind sacrificing ride quality, and I drive 20 miles one way to work everyday on Skunk2/AGXs on a Civic. On a crappy road, sure I feel it. But I also feel it when I corner and when I'm cruising at 80 on the highway. For what is sacrificed in ride quality, it makes up for itself in stability in corners and higher speeds.
