tail light questions?
my friend hatch back taillight is mess up. we check all the bulbs and change 2 of the bulbs already but when its nite time . she turn on her lights her tailllight dont come on. but when she step on the brake the light works. signal light works too.
so yeah when she drive at nite to back from work. only her headlight works. the taillight pretty much black until she hit the brakes and then all the light works. so
what could it be? the fuse are fine.
well hope u guys could help me out.

it sounds like you might not have the right bulbs.......there are bulbs that have 2 filaments in them, one is always on when your lights are on and the other lights up brighter when you apply the brakes.......check the bulbs that you bought and make sure that they have two filaments........also, check for any blown fuses in your fuse box

Make sure the wires are not pinched somewhere. Maybe in the hatch or under the door sill trim, under seats, I'm not sure if they have any fusable links anywhere or not

You may have put in #1156 instead of the correct ones ---> #1157.

if the fuse is good get your test light out and start seeing if the power is good and if the ground is good. If both check out its the bulbs
