Default tach hook up

I got an autometer tach. where is the easiest place to run the green wire? Thanx in advance

Thats not the question you want to ask. First you have to know what type of ECU your running then look at the diagram and see where your rpm signal is.

Look at WH-1 You see where it says RPM signal? You tap into that wire.

Edit cause i grabbed the wrong pic.

go in to ur engine bay...
right by the windshield whiper wires and the 3 clips by the tower of the driver side there should be a lil black square thing almost look like a plug its gotta rubbery black thing over it... it should be 1 wire that goes in to that black thingy really easy to spot it kut the black thing off and attach the green wire from the tach to that but connect it

Blue wire behind cluster, tap the wire there and it should work

I ran my auto meter tachs green wire straight to my distributor which will give you a better reading than a relay.

this is the shortest easiest way and i use it.

The easiest place is from the cluster.

in the cluster wires is a blue wire, thats the oem signal for the tach, that will do.
