Default Sway bars '93 civic hb

Just bought a second '93 HB and the person before me put a suspension techniques anti sway bar in the front and rear. Every time I go over a bump it sounds like it is making contact with the catalatic converter. Anyone had problems with this? Any fix? It is really annoying and am thinking of just taking it off, but the anti-sway bars feel nice when driving. I guess I might have to put up with the rattle, contact sound...thanks

get some exhaust work done, the sway bars are worth it.
