Swapping a SOHC for a ZC DOHC
I just got a '00 EX SOHC, and am trying to look at all of my options. I was just told about swapping the head for a ZC DOHC (i really want DOHC). Does anyone know everything I would need to do it or how much work/cost that would be?

The DOHC ZC heads do not bolt straight onto all the SOHC blocks. You have to machine one of the holes in the head.
Besides, the Y8 is just as good anyway.

There is no stock mounts that will work.
Only useful for bolting into 1st gen CRXs.

Please don't put a obd0 motor in an obd2 car.
It's VERY hard to find some parts for that engine. Don't get so excited because it's a "Dohc" it will be about as fast as the motor you have now. If you want a cheap swap get a b18b.
