i have a 97 civic hatch and just got a 96 gsr hella cheap.
i wanna know if i can swap the gsr motor on my hatch and it be legal being a year difference? also what else can i take from the dc that would make my hatch better?the gsr is bone stock and clean title.

well if not mistaken you have to swap a motor either from the year of your car or newer in order to pass calis strict rules... dont quote me on that, but that is what i have read

dont think thats possible here in cali bro.. regardless what year your car is the swap must be from a newer year. correct me if im mistaken.

u can also take the rear disc conversion for your hatch

No. Its not legal. Has to be same year or newer.

Sell it and buy a newer one, or save it and swap it into an older shell.

The brakes and seats would be good to swap over to your hatch.
