Re: swap people (i've_got_the_ADVANtage)
Sold it. Only reason I would suggest keeping it around is if you either need a spare motor (you blow your freshly swapped B or H-series motor), or if you live in Cali and need to pass smog (swap old D-series in to pass, then swap your better motor back in afterwards).

we have a giant pile or d series trash in the rear of our old garage we rented with the appt. 6 to be exact. Imagine the landlords Face when he swings the door up

Re: swap people (IgniteTeg)
i kinda regret selling my CX motor,..i sometimes think about what if i blow my LSvtec setup or B20 motor,...i think i might locate another CX motor,..but its gonna be hell driving around with a D series motor after driving my LSvtec or B20 all day hehe
also,..its kinda fun to disassemble your stock motor after swapping in another motor,...i like to take it apart and put it back together,..that is what helped me understand motors better

I sold mine for next to nothing cuz I was short of money, but I would keep it around incase u need to swap it back in for awhile or something. OR u could make a gokart or sandrail with it, it would haul ***!!!!

i took it apart and learned from it.
if i had to do it all over again i would in a HEARTBEAT! i learned so much from disassembling that motor.
i still need to rebuild it just for ***** and giggles to see if i can.

yup exactly what i did just like i said above,...i learn alot also,..i know its not like my other 2 b series motors but,..once you disassemble it, it kinda takes the fear away from tinkering with your motor,...id do it again if i had a spare motor

Re: (ITRacer121)
I took apart the head on my cx to better understand engines. I then bashed the block and tranny to pieces with a sledge and then threw the scraps in a dumpster behind a bowling ally.
