Suspension Techniques Drop/Lowering Fork???????
Does anybody have these or know how much these costs? They are made by Suspension Techniques. They are supposed to lower you car about 1.5". I think these would be GREAT if you have coilovers because you can have an extra 1.5" of strut travel if you raise your car 1.5" and add these. More strut travel = longer life of sruts....also if you use the GC upper mounts with it then you will have an a total of 2.5" more of strut travel....anyways....TIA!!

i dunno y they axed the drop forks and pro arms. thats the reason i bought them, 1.5 inches of extra travel is nice to have. my car is dumped a total of 4". i loved the product from the moment i put them on, had no problems with install or anything. been ridin on them for about 3.5 yrs.

had this on my first eg hatch. worked perfect! you can even run stock shocks and springs and get the ride comfort of a stock car with a 1.5 drop. then i upgraded the suspension to: koni yellows, ground control coilovers, drop forks (front) and pro arms (rear). im trying to get another set but they are VERY hard to get ahold of.

Re: Suspension Techniques Drop/Lowering Fork??????? (DXturbo)
I had them on my 98 coupe and loved them. I kept my factory springs and struts, the only problem was back then I was all about the 18in rims and they rubbed like crazy.

actually it didnt rub the axle on my car but since my cars axles set as such an angle it rubbed the stock honda CV boots and tore through them in no time. so i notched the drop forks and swapped to a napa CV boot (less ribs) and everything was all better.

YES IT IS....but now that everybody is concerned about strut travel people want them now. Five years ago people didnt care because we had coilovers in the market too. People didnt really care about strut travel back then, they just cared about the drop.
