Default suspension issues (front pointing up)

hello all, during my recent z6 swap on my 94 LX sedan, i decided to change the suspension. it was lowered when i bought it, and i didn't like it, so i picked up some stock EX suspension from the same guy i bought the motor from. well so far i've only replaced the front, (i think the back is actually stock) but it is pointing way up in the air. wondering if there is a way to adjust it, or if i did something wrong....

I have seen people put the rear springs on the front and it looks like it is flying away!

I didn't assemble the springs/struts. I bought them used from a Honda/Acura mechanic. To my knowledge they've not been taken apart, just taken off the car and sold to me.

But how do YOU know whch one is front and which one is for back? Or did you just buy the fronts from the guy? Bascially the rears are teh taller springs and the fronts are shorter. Maybe, if you only bought the fronts, you were accidentally sold the rears, and hence, the taller stance. Maybe your current rears are slammed a bit and the front springs are correct.

I know I put the fronts on because the rears would not fit on the front. I think you are confused as to what I changed. I did not change the springs alone, i took the hole shock tower out (assembled) and put in the new one. unbolted from the top mount in the engien bay, and the bottom mount on the lower control arm. it may be that the back is slammed a bit, i won't know that until i change the back too. but just by looking at it, i think its too high to be that.

no, the swap is done, its back on the road now. the struts were not in any vehicle for a few months, is it possible that they just need to settle in? sounds like a stretch to me.

The ones you got are either wrong or the ones in the back are not stock height.

i will change the rears tonight or tomorrow and see what kind of difference it makes. they are out of a 95 4 door EX (supposedly), so they should be right.
