Default surging idle and high pitch whistle/whine?

So i thought my issue was with the PCV line that was cut and blowing to atmosphere. I replaced the hose and is reconnected, but im still having the same issue.

Anyone have any ideas?

Im still thinkin vaccuum leak but cant pinpoint where it is at. Has anyone had this same issue and where did you find/start to fix it.

Im thinking this may be the problem as ive never seen a gasket not fit flush.

Oh yes, that last photo shows it clearly, you need to remove the manifold and see why, it may be a chunk of something between the manifold and gasket , or the manifold itself is warped badly.

I did the same thing with a head gasket once, got a 1/2 of a valve collet stuck between them . ouch ...... man I was pissed with myself for not paying attention to cleanliness.
