Default Supension Question . .

Ok I have a 00Civic EX. I recently bought GroundControl coilovers, but when the guy asked me about my shocks i told him i had stock shocks. Now this may be a dumb question but im pretty dumb when it comes to suspension.... so here goes.... will these coilovers work with any aftermarket shocks... PLZ HELP

you gc's for stock shocks will work on all after market shocks but koni. So tokico and agx's will work with your gc's. koni shocks require a different set of gc's with a special adapter that you dont have.

are you talking about that koni adapter-that green cone thingy? you do need this, but you can order them separately for 10 bucks each.

to answer your question, you can use any shock you want. koni yellows would be a fabulous choice. youll love even with the price they carry.

not exactly a green cone.... more of a black aluminum ring that fits inside the bottom of the sleeve, then it mounts flush with the Koni c-clips.

thats good . . . i was thinking i would hav to buy new coilovers.

Jus one more question, how much of a drop should i go for? I heard 2inches is tooo much for a 00 civicEX. And how much of a drop cud i do, with the stock shocks? Also how much faster will ma tires wear out?

SORRY FOR ALL THESE QUESTIONS, but IM jus NEW at THIS stuff.
