sup with my suspension???? cant make it a good ride
Sup guys. I got a 95 civic hatch si with 00 civic si rims with 195/55/r15. Right now in my suspension I have eibach sportline lowering springs and in front I have tokico illumina's(white, 5 way adjustable) which are set at the lowest setting;meaning its not hard to compress the shock. In the back I got tokico blues shocks(maybe soon to come tokico illumina's too).
I also got some adjustable red springs layings around and some stock gsr shocks.
Some people say I need to put the adjustable springs with the tokico illumina's shocks. Some people say the eibach springs with stock gsr shocks.
I'M LOST
right now the ride is so so. not bouncy bouncy but when you hit rough parts of the road, it sucks. Also when you hit some parts of the road were it sticks up, it hits hard and shakes through the whole car.
What should I do with the suspension I have??
THANKS A BUNCH

Illuminas are some of my favorite adjustable shocks. I had these with Skunk 2 coilovers and they rode very nicely. But it depends what kind of ride you really want. If you want it to feel comfortable like stock, you may want to start trying out stock shocks/springs. Also, hows the rest of your suspension? Bushings?

Damn dude. Wish I could find someone to trade me illuminas for my blues. I gave my set up on a previous car and wish I kept em....

If you set your fronts soft it will give you oversteer (a little bit is ideal)
But dont set it too soft cuz itll feel sloppy

yea dude before I was all that into honda's I had a 00 civic ex and I know for sure it had illumina's and some adjustable shocks. The car was maybe lowered like one inch but oh man it drove nice.
or maybe toss on the adjustable sleeve on the shock with the eibach sportlines and raise in a bit??

Re: sup with my suspension???? cant make it a good ride
how are you gonna have eibach sportline full springs and adjustable sleeves. they arent coil over springs so they wont even sorta fit. also your ex that you know for sure had illuminas and some adjustable shocks. tockico illuminas ARE adjustable shocks how did you have both.?
yea I even raised the car and lowered it a bit. back in the day I never knew illumina's were adjustable.
maybe toss my coilovers on my illuminas??
