Default Sunroof Problem...

i got a 97 civic ex and for some reason my sunroof wont go back...it will open up to the other position where it merely just rises about an inch but it wont slide all the way back open...like it gets stuck or jammed or something..anyone got any help?

its not the motor cause the other option where you can raise it about an inch works..i think maybe something is bent or something cause when it trys go go back it will go a little bit then just stop

well it wont slide back at all thats why i think it might have something to do with the tracks but i miss seeing the clouds during the day

mine doesn't close or vent, but it opens. i hear the relay clicking when i push the button to close or to vent. what's the typical cause, motor? dry tracks? this is a 2000 civic...

i had the same problem with my 1st 93 hatch-- it vetned and only went back about an inch. All I did was use the sunroof tool and opened it manually sprayed some wd40, closed it and afer that it started to work after that.. maybe that will work

lube it up really good i had the same problem with my em1
