I heard that it's possible to install a sunroof even if your car never hard one in the first place. I was wondering what companies do this and how much it costs...etc.

I just need some more info.

are you talking cost to install or how much it's gonna cost your *** in the long run. Stay away from it. Cutting a hole in a car's roof that wasn't meant to be there is nothing but a bad idea. You don't have the extra bracing typically found in cars w/ factory sunroofs so you're introducing more flex to the body. Probably the biggest problem is quality though. It's extremely rare to get an aftermarket sunroof and have it leak free for any extended amount of time. My dealership offers them and I don't recommend them to any customers (it's another $400 profit for me if I do if that tells you anything about what I think of them). Our charge is around $1200 for a fully automatic one though if you do decide to go with it.

I guess I'm lucky then... In fact I know I'm lucky, because same as the above post I do not trust aftermarket sunroofs...

However, When I bought my car it did come with one... hehe(I'm a hypocrite) Anyway, mine is just a simple manual window with only a tilt function. Never had it leak or rust and works great.

And yes, this is the exception to the rule.
