Stutter/shake only during acceleration????
ever since i changed my axles last weekend i have had a subtle studder or shake when i accelerate, and only when accelerating. it dosen't relly feel like it's the motor, it feels like it's something in the tranny/axles? i really have no idea what could be causing this?? any ideas?

if you get alot of rumbling in the steering wheel it's probably your suspention or axels. if its rumbling in the car over all it might be the tranny, or engine.
don't know if this helps, be a little more specific.

only when accelerating? how about decelerating while in gear? see if you can find a pattern in the RPMs if any.
but it sounds like it's in your axels. might want to have it checked.

i can mostly feel the vibration when i'm about 50-60% on the throttle, and its the worst at 2.5K-5K. Again, its ONLY during acceleration. Not while decelerating in gear at all.
when i get a chance illl pull it apart and check bolts and **** i guess

Hope you got a warranty on those axles. if it was the suspension, it would happen at a certain speed, not a certain rpm (or throttle input), and it would happen wheter you were accelerating or not.

not likely. a friend of mine went through 4 autozone axles one time before he found one that didn't vibrate. They don't always do the best job with the re-builds.

make sure the axles are good and plugged all the way in.. if you removed any grounds make sure they're connected clean and tight... you don't want to touch electrical connections with slimy hands
also, i'd check the TPS and MAP sensors just for kicks to see if they're working properly

if it does is only when on the gas, and goes away as soon as you let off the throttle, you have an inner joint issue.

Re: Stutter/shake only during acceleration???? (boostedcivicsir)
i went to look for problems and I found that my rear rubber mount is broken... would this cause my car to shake at certain loads through out the RPM's?
