This is prob a REAL stupid question... but how do i tell what tranny i have in my 93 del sol? I have a B18B1 if that makes a differance... Thanks alot!

do i have to take the vin and determine what trans i have that way? And would it be close to where the engine is stamped?

it should be a white tag on top of the tranny...

Thanks ALOT!! I know what ur talking about now.. Then is there a website that i would go to... or call teh dealer... What would i do with the vin?

theres a sequence of letters and numbers. you have a b-series so i should read something like s80 or ys1 or some crap. then use the search button and it'll tell you what tranny you have.

run your vin and it'll tell you if it was a integra ls/gsr or civic si and that'll determine what car your tranny came out from. You have a b18b1 so you know right of the back that its a ls motor
