Strut bar
Is there really that much of a difference between strut bars as long as they are strong enough to do their jobs? Like dc sports, mugen,.... Wouldn't anyone do nice as long as it fits the car since i won't be racing it on a track? Thanks.

all the bars do the same job. just DON'T get the DC sports. that bar is bendable. if you don't believe me, find one that's installed on someone's civic. lean on it and it will bend in the middle.

I can vouch for that... I've heard that they are just sitting there, looking good! That's ALL they do. They bend quite a bit.
One company I can definitely recommend though, is Benen Industries. They make some of the strongest strut tower bars I've ever seen. I can't decide between them and JIC Magic's carbon fiber strut tower bars.

aight, anyone hear of these not holding their weight. Like breaking or anything like that. And also with the strut bar, would it rub on my aem v2 cai since it sticks up so much?

Front strut bars are not going to be designed to differently as per design it's in the engine bay and going to be pretty straight. A stock 99-00 Si bar will suffice.
However for the rear bar there are "style" ones, one that bend upwards to clear the factory removable panels and then there are "form" ones. One's that tie the struts together in the straightest line possible. These are the ones you want to go for as they sacrifice hardly any structural rigidity.

Re: (Mr Milano)
Well this one guy I know's window cracked in the front when he didnt have one on his Del Sol VTEC (he took of the stock one and had a cutsom one till he put on the vortech charger and it wouldnt fit). Personally front ones would be better to have the stock SI one's or OEM ITR one but rear Ebay it, i got mine for 15 shipped didnt bend and made quite a difference, and my front one is some wierd custom one i got that works great and i got it off ebay for 17 bucks, thats my input

for the front DEFINETELY get a neuspeed strutbar,
its a very solid 1piece design,
get yourself a used one for a good price
if you ever get extended strut mounts of any sort(they help ALOT with suspension travel) the neuspeed bar wont run into them.
but an oem or type R style will.
and most other bars are 3piece jointed types,
wtf good is a strut bar if it pivots!?!
